Ron Paul likes to come back to the whole "they attacked us because we are over there" line whenever issues of the war or foreign policy pop up.
Here's a question for Ron Paul (or the Paulbots) on this very issue (

"We have several bases in Germany. Why aren't Lutheran terrorists flying planes into US buildings?"
Any extrapolation of this same basic theme demonstrated in the question above shows how inane Ron Pauls whole foreign policy stance is.
