"White Power in Black Face"

A racist organization protested in front of the White House in Washington today chanting Obama is "white power in black face."

"We recognize that Barack Hussein Obama is white power in black face."

"He is a tool of our imperialist enemies and we demand freedom."

"We're not satisfied with him, and... this hope and change rap has not been a reality..."

The group, complete with signs reading "US out of Afghanistan" and "No to US Imperialism" is none to happy with the president.

No.  It isn't Code Pink, the Republican National Committee, a TEA Party group or even a group of conspiratorial Ron Paul supporters.  They are an organization called the Black is Back Coalition (web site here) a group of African-Americans.  Yeah, nothing radical about these guys...

In all the supposed 'Racism' and 'Hate' I've heard about from pundits on the Left (like Chris Mathews and Keith Olbermann) I have yet to hear any such epithets from anyone such as Obama being "white power in black face."  Where is the outrageous outrage from the Left?  We heard no end of criticism of TEA Party goers - about how they were little more than Hitler-loving fascists and how any criticism they had of Obama was obviously driven by racism.  Of course no examples of said racism were ever shown, but it was the narrative that counted, not the truth.

Now we have an overt, outward, patently racist epithet made directly about President Obama by the spokesman for this group along with stinging criticism of his policies and - crickets.

These guys voted for Teh One more than likely (96% of African-Americans voted for Obama btw).  What did they think they were going to get?  I guess, using their logic, the moment it was announced anyone white had voted for Obama, that made him a "tool"?  I'm just asking?  Not only are these guys racists...

They're stupid.

Press Secretary Gibbs is an idiot

The only question now is if it's purposeful.

"Imagine just a few years ago had somebody walked around with images of Hitler."  Gibbs said this in a broader context in this remark about the health care protesters in Washington yesterday.  He says this as if he has no memory of the last eight years and the hell the Left gave Bush, using just the imagery Gibbs now decries.

Well, for the sake of helping out our moronic press secretary, here's a campaign ad from MoveOn.org during the 2004 Presidential campaign (just a few years ago...):

I know it may have been hard to see.  Did you catch any Bush-Hitler imagery there?

To paraphrase Curly from "City Slickers" - "I've crapped smarter than you."

More of Hasan's Non-PTSD inspired radicalism

Let's be sure to get this out there before the PTSD meme takes complete control of the narrative.  Of course it doesn't matter that Hasan was never in combat to have suffered from PTSD.  He heard about it while counseling real soldiers returned from Iraq.  Hey, if it's enough for the likes of Chris Mathew and Keith Olbermann, it should be good enough for us all...

From The Jawa Report:

Here's a great idea: let's give this guy a military commission and then promote him to Major!
Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 people and wounding 30 others at the Fort Hood Army Base in Texas, regularly described the war on terror as “a war against Islam,” according to a doctor who was in a graduate program with him.

He was very vocal about the war, very upfront about being a Muslim first and an American second,” said Finnell, 41, a preventive medicine doctor in Los Angeles

Sounds like someone shares the world view of Osama bin Laden and hundreds of millions of other Muslims around the world who claim victim status to the global Zionist-Crusader plot against them.

More here and here.

Media Narrative on Ft Hood Shooting Takes Shape

Hasan's Muslim faith had nothing, nothing I say! to do with it.

Here's an example of "It's stress because the military is on the brink of collapse" meme.

Hasan's Muslim faith could have had nothing to do with his actions, but pointing out the guy was a Muslim must be Islamophobia.

President Prissypants says we shouldn't "jump to conclusions"  From Ace of Spades HQ:

Funny but he was willing to reach conclusions within hours of the murder of abortionist George Tiller. Interestingly, it took Him 2 days to issue a statement when a Muslim terrorist killed a soldier at an Army recruitment office in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Seems some incidents call for restraint and others call for immediate conclusions.

Also, compare and contrast the media reaction.

Immediately Tiller's murder an act of domestic terrorism (here, here and here for just a few examples. Warning: liberal sites).

Yep.  An abortionists murder was immediately an act of domestic terrorism.  Hasan's act of murdering US servicemen while shouting "Allahu Akbar!" was simply that of a stressed out individual.

Nope.  No evidence of a Jihadi in actionNone at all.

At least six months ago, Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades.

ADDED:

I like this headline from The Jawa Report:

AP Unclear What Motivated Devout Muslim Shouting "Allahu Akbar" to Kill

Cold Fish

Obama has demonstrated a trend that after highly charged incidents, he doesn't know his a-- from a hat.

During the incident resulting in the "Beer Summit" the President, after stating that not all the facts of the incident were in, stated a police department acted "inappropriately" in dealing with a black man.  Of course it was later learned that the police acted just as they should have acted and the only one who acted "inappropriately" was the President himself.

Now we have the presidents response to the Ft. Hood shooting yesterday:

After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.

But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner."  Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

Anyone at home aware of the major news story of the previous hours had to have been stunned. An incident like this requires a scrapping of the early light banter. The president should apologize for the tone of his remarks, explain what has happened, express sympathy for those slain and appeal for calm and patience until all the facts are in. That's the least that should occur.

Read the rest here.

This shows a remarkable lack of compassion and empathy from the President.  Obama just has no frame of reference in handling these types of situations, especially if they involve the military.  He has spent decades cavorting with people who wish and ask for this very type of incident to be visited upon US soldiers.  Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and others are infamous for their loathing of the military and Obama has lived hand-in-hand with these idiots for years.

Obama showed no such levity when he was pontificating about the abortion doctor who was killed some months back.  And this may be picking fly poop out of pepper but he couldn't even get the award for the doctor he gave a "shout out" to right - he wasn't a Medal of Honor winner, he won the Medal of Freedom, a civilian award.

Just as his photo op at Andrews the other day with returning dead servicemen was inappropriate, so was his response yesterday.  What is sad is he and his minders probably see absolutely nothing wrong with what he did.

Unemployment 10.2% - All Hail Porkulus

At least Obama has a super-awesome HBO documentary out about himself.

Unemployment hit double digits for the first time in 26 years as more than 558,000 lost jobs in October.  The jobless rate went from 9.8% to 10.2%, a leap that quadruples the increase from August to September...

And this:

WASHINGTON – The unemployment rate has surpassed 10 percent for the first time since 1983 — and is likely to go higher.

But the loss of jobs last month exceeded economists' estimates. It's the 22nd straight month the U.S. economy has shed jobs, the longest on records dating back 70 years.

Counting those who have settled for part-time jobs or stopped looking for work, the unemployment rate would be 17.5 percent, the highest on records dating from 1994.

More here.

We're officially off the chart as this graph indicates.

The stimulus was so effective it failed to 'save or create' another 558,000 jobs last month.  No word yet if this news will have any effect on Obama's tee time this weekend...
