A match made in...WTF?!

If these two got together, would the resulting singularity of inane vapidity destroy the universe?

Throw out a hook, catch a moron

9/11 was "more of a cover up or a stand down than an inside job".

Not withstanding my commenters comment, it appears "truther" trolls are alive and well at Townhall.

Note:  I originally put the word "fish" in the title, but changed it to better represent.

9/11 was an inside job?

The same FBI many "Truthers" think was part of a massive government conspiracy on September 11, 2001, didn't even realize they may have stopped another attack.

I've been in government service (military) for twenty-two years.  The military can't make sure basic trainess have enough gas masks for firearms training, but is capable of the massive organization, logistics and secrecy to pull off 9/11?

I've said it before, but I'll say it again - "Truthers" are stupid.

Note:  The linked article isn't about Truthers, conspiracy theories or any such thing.  It just struck me while reading the article that a government operation like the FBI would be given the credit it is by "Truthers".  We see time and again how the government can't do anything right, they can't even write a good check, but can pull off 9/11.  Just struck me as funny...

What's up with Minnesota?

Islamic radicals from Minneapolis going to Somalia and fighting for the Jihad.  Not just an isolated incident it seems.  This has happened three times!  The good news is these terrorist scumbags were killed.  How many more from the Minneapolis area though haven't been killed?  How many more are killing in the name of Islam?

Why isn't the fact that American raised and born jihaidists are "answering the call" and joining radical islamists sects oversees?  Why isn't anyone doing something about this?

Not only is Minnesota a breeding ground for radical islamists, the state is giving us moronic politicians like Al Franken, not to mention Jesse Ventura.  Ventura though could only screw up his own state.  Franken is in place to help screw up the entire country.

Is there something in the water up there or what?

She didn't mean it

Oh, for many characters to have used and gotten away with this defense at times in the past:

"Mr. Bundy, how do you plead?"  "I didn't mean it."  "Case dismissed!"

"Herman Goring, you are accused of crimes against humanity and atrocities committed on the name of the Nazi state.  How do you plead?"  "I didn't mean it."  "Case dismissed!"

At least OJ Simpson had the stones to stand up and say he didn't do it right from the start.  He even had the audacity to say he'd continue to work to find the "real killers", in between rounds of golf that is.

I'm not saying that Judge Sotomayor is evil, a murderer or war criminal.  I'm illustrating through an excessive example how absurd her "defense" of her racist remarks is.

Judge (soon to be Justice) Sotomayor won't take responsibility for what she said and why.  Why?  She knows it's a non-starter.  I'd have more respect for the lady if she just admitted she's a racist.  Or at least a bigot.  At least she would be honest about the kind of person she is.  She's purposefully misrepresenting herself, which in and of itself should disqualify her to sit as a Supreme Court Justice.

UPDATE:  Now it's a "rhetorical flourish".  She "rhetorically flourished" at least seven times that we know of.

Here is something which isn't a "rhetorical flourish" - this woman is a damn liar.

Canada's health care exposed

Wanna pay $900 dollars for a blood test - to check your cholesterol?

How about be told - by a doctor - that it'll take three years to get a primary care physician assigned to you, but it's all right.  You're young (maybe), three years is no big deal.  (No, this isn't made up.  You'll see)

Just think, This is what President Obama and the Democrats have in store for us.

What the hell is wrong with this guy?

"Probe" in this case being a euphemism for investigation.  So instead of prosecuting the war against the Taliban, an organization with no, shall we say redeeming qualities, we need to spend more time, money and lives trying to concoct some "they hate us because" meme?  Let's be frank.  The Taliban are murdering, tyranical thugs who want nothing more than to subjugate the world (not just Afghanistan) under a theocratic oligarghy.  In layman's terms, they want to enslave everyone under their thumb and force them to worship their god.  Anyone getting in the way should be killed.

These monsters refuse to fight under the "rules of war" so they are not subject to the protections of those same rules.  I cannot believe that we still have, now in our very own President, people more interested in the welfare of our enemy more than in ourselves.

Additionally, I'm no 'Constitutional Scholar" like our vaunted leader, but this doesn't seem like it would be binding anyway.  The Northern Alliance doesn't exist as an organization anymore, and the current Afghan government didn't exist at the time of the supposed "war  crimes".  So who exacty are we investigating here?  Ah, there's the rub.  This isn't an investigation into the Northern Alliance or any of our allies as much as it's another attempt to place blame and keep the spotlight on the evil Chimpy BushMcHiter, rather than on this administrations own failures.

There is a benefit in this strategy - for the Democrats.  Just as with the investigations into the "super sekrit" CIA program that wasn't, this is to divert attention away from investigating legitimate issues - like Speaker Pelosi making unsubstantiated accusations against the CIA, or even looking into where the "Stimulus" money went

We've cowtowed to every other despotic regime on the planet in the past six months.  Giving the Talibam some love fits right into the Obama foreign policy narrative.
