I wonder how far the message of "hope" must go before people start to think, "Hey wait a minute. I voted for this guy expecting 'hope'. Now I've gotta buy the matching necklace too?" It also is a bit ironic that this stuff would be sold taking the cash out of cash-strapped Americans pockets during the "worst economic crises since the Great Depression."
Nothing quite says American exceptionalism like a kitchy, smaltzy, $49 'Hope' pendant.
