I've been hearing a lot over the past few days about how much Obama has done in his first 100 days as president. If you can stomach it, take a gander at this
propaganda, er...
journalism from Andrea Mitchel at, where else, MSNBC.
Just last week at the San Antonio Tea Party there were three Obama supporters
chastising those in attendance for
not giving Obama enough time to fix anything ("Give Change a Chance!"); how could possibly
anything get done or be criticized since so little time had passed? I have read and heard varying degrees of this talking point ever since Obama was elected, "It's only been X days, give the guy a chance, will 'ya?". It usually rears it's head when Obama has screwed something up. It's the Obama adminstrations second favorite excuse line, right behind "We inherited this problem from Bush..."
Now that the magical "100 Day" mark is upon us, we are to bask in the glorious light of all of Obama's supposed successes.
Which is it?
1. "We inherited this problem from Bush!"
2. "We need to give change a chance!"
3. "
President Obama is the greatest President, evah!"
Depending on the severity of the at-this-moment Obama administration screw up or the need to distract from some embarrassing event you can figure that you'll get either answer.
