I always feared a zombie apocalypse. If you know anything about zombies, you would be stupid to not also fear said apocalypse. I thought I was prepared for the coming of the zombies.
I was wrong.
I do not wish to place the actual videos up, they are that creepy. The links are

These people appear to be the worst kind of zombie, a philosophical zombie. Everyone knows about real zombies- you know, the ones that eat you. As frightening as those zombies are at least you can deal with them - shoot 'em in the head and call it a day. A philosophical zombie, or P-zombie is much, much worse.
P-zombies can be anywhere, anytime. You probably work with some and don't even know it. At the very least, you deal with them on a daily basis. A P-zombie is almost indistinguishable from a normal human being. The look the same, they talk, work, do all the things you do. What makes them P-zombies is their complete lack of conscious experience. More to the point, a complete lack of
consciousness.
Look at those videos again. Notice the look on the face of the female from Florida. Her look is almost euphoric, ecstatic even, bordering on rapturous! What you don't see is what gives her away as a P-zombie - her look contains absolutely no consciousness. Her eyes are glazed and she has but a singular focus. The McDonalds guy also is a P-zombie. Notice his reaction as he's addressed - the same (albeit more energetic) euphoria and rapture. His question though illustrates he has no consciouness. A rational human with a functional mind would be able to formualte a coherent question for the President. Our friend, as illustrated in the video, cannot.
