The "Shriek" Heard 'Round the World?

The next four years of media gawk at The One are going to be hard indeed if he continues to be greeted thusly by others in the MSM:
 
Many people were angling to see Obama up close, but the most excited newsroom staffers appeared to be non-journalists, including one clerical employee who was heard to shriek that the president-elect had shaken her hand.
 
Wonderful. 
 
Yes I have selectively edited the above paragraph leaving out the fact that there was "no ovation".  Of course The One would not tolerate standing in his presence.    : )   
 
I'm sure it was a lowly "clerical employee" and not a journalistic sychophant.  Mr. Kurtz in his story seems to imply that no journalist would react to Obama in such a way.  I guess Chris Matthews didn't get the memo?
