Will this "news" ever stop? Polar bears in Iceland is NOT a result of global warming; nor is it a result of a "shrinkage of the ice sheet".
MARAUDING polar bears could cause terror on Iceland after experts claimed global warming could bring the killer beasts across the sea.
The alert came as police there shot two bears in just two weeks.
The animals - which are not native to Iceland - are thought to have floated across the Arctic Ocean on ice platforms which broke free from Greenland.
Maurading polar bears? I thought these "majestic creatures" were the Arctic equivalent of Gentle Ben? The gentle giants of the North?
Global warming? Actually, unless warming causes heavy sea ice that isn't thought to be the case. Bears are visitors to Iceland in years of heavy sea ice and there are records of this happening for a thousand years (meaning likely throughout the Holocene but no one recorded the fact prior to about 1,000AD).

the link in the Junk Science excerpt above for the FACTS on Polar Bear Habitat. Facts from Seaworld/Busch Gardens BTW - hardly organizations in the pocket of the evil "Big Oil". This fact alone never seems to make it into any of these articles on polar bears - I wonder why?
In heavy ice years, polar bears have traveled as far south as the Pribilof Islands,Kamchatka, Newfoundland, and Iceland.
Yet another inconvenient truth. I wonder if this would make into the next Goracle slide show or NASA Hansen Congressional testimony?
