It is much better than the first, but we're talking amateur night here folks. Maybe they should have stuck with the volunteer 'actors'?
How about the last line of the add. Why would Ron Paul need to tell us he's Ron Paul twice in the same ad when it's him telling us who he is and that he approved his own message? Is there some campaign law stating he needs to say that after any ad even if he's the one appearing in it?
Oh, and he is the only candidate who has pledged to bring the troops home immediately (though he's done nothing as Congressman to do that very thing) and he's the only one who has pledged to cut government spending (of course this must not apply to earmark spending he has engaged in for his own district back home).
None of the other republicans has pledged to cut government spending? Really? Apparently he's also all about increasing the welfare state here at home according to this ad.
I mean how contradictory can he be here? We stop wasting trillions overseas which will save us countless money so we can then waste that money in America on those "who need it"? What about all the money we'll save by eliminating the CIA the FBI and IRS and the Federal Reserve?
Oh, and no American flag pin for you either Mr. Paul? Can anyone tell what that pin on his lapel is? It doesn't look like a campaign pin, and it definately isn't a American Flag.
I look for one of the next three to be a real anti-war ad. We'll see. So far it's the big thread through both his current ads
Maybe it's me and I'm just picking fly poop out of pepper here, but do this guys campaign managers understand anything about anything? Does Paul?
Here's the ad:
