Death Star Destruction - What Really Happened?

A new explosive book out today about what really happened to the Death Star.

Of course many of us have been asking the question:  How could such a small, relatively untrained force of roghly 30 small ships and pilots, destroy the largest space battle station ever constructed?  Did the government tell us the truth?

Read this article for more:

Uncomfortable Questions: Was the Death Star Attack an Inside Job?

Websurdity Link: This article was inspired by the fine users at the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) Forum, to whom I am indebted for the use of much of this material.

We’ve all heard the “official conspiracy theory” of the Death Star attack. We all know about Luke Skywalker and his ragtag bunch of rebels, how they mounted a foolhardy attack on the most powerful, well-defended battle station ever built. And we’ve all seen the video over, and over, and over, of the one-in-a-million shot that resulted in a massive chain reaction that not just damaged, but completely obliterated that massive technological wonder.

Like many Americans, I was fed this story when I was growing up. But as I watched the video, I began to realize that all was not as it seemed. And the more I questioned the official story, the deeper into the rabbit hole I went.

Presented here are some of the results of my soul-searching regarding this painful event. Like many citizens, I have many questions that I would like answered: was the mighty Imperial government really too incompetent to prevent a handful of untrained nerf-herders from destroying one of their most prized assets? Or are they hiding something from us? Who was really behind the attack? Why did they want the Death Star destroyed? No matter what the answers, we have a problem.

Below is a summary of my book, Uncomfortable Questions: An Analysis of the Death Star Attack, which presents compelling evidence that we all may be the victims of a fraud of immense proportions.

Uncomfortable Questions about the Death Star Attack

The cover of Uncomfortable Questions: An Analysis of the Death Star Attack

1) Why were a handful of rebel fighters able to penetrate the defenses of a battle station that had the capability of destroying an entire planet and the defenses to ward off several fleets of battle ships?

2) Why did Grand Moff Tarkin refuse to deploy the station’s large fleet of TIE Fighters until it was too late? Was he acting on orders from somebody to not shoot down the rebel attack force? If so, who, and why?

3) Why was the rebel pilot who supposedly destroyed the Death Star reported to be on the Death Star days, maybe hours, prior to its destruction? Why was he allowed to escape, and why were several individuals dressed in Stormtrooper uniforms seen helping him?

4) Why has there not been an investigation into allegations that Darth Vader, the second-ranking member of the Imperial Government, is in fact the father of the pilot who allegedly destroyed the Death Star?

5) Why did Lord Vader decide to break all protocols and personally pilot a lightly armored TIE Fighter? Conveniently, this placed Lord Vader outside of the Death Star when it was destroyed, where he was also conveniently able to escape from a large-sized rebel fleet that had just routed the Imperial forces. Why would Lord Vader, one of the highest ranking members of the Imperial Government, suddenly decide to fly away from the Death Star in the middle of a battle? Did he know something that the rest of the Imperial Navy didn’t?

Emperor Palpatine fails to act after being informed of the attack

6) How could any pilot shoot a missile into a 2 meter-wide exhaust port, let alone a pilot with no formal training, whose only claim to fame was his ability to “bullseye womprats” on Tatooine? This shot, according to one pilot, would be “impossible, even for a computer.” Yet, according to additional evidence, the pilot who allegedly fired the missile turned off his targeting computer when he was supposedly firing the shot that destroyed the Death Star. Why have these discrepancies never been investigated, let alone explained?

7) Why has their been no investigation into evidence that the droids who provided the rebels with the Death Star plans were once owned by none other than Lord Vader himself, and were found, conveniently, by the pilot who destroyed the Death Star, and who is also believed to be Lord Vader’s son? Evidence also shows that the droids were brought to one Ben Kenobi, who, records indicate, was Darth Vader’s teacher many years earlier! Are all these personal connections between the conspirators and a key figure in the Imperial government supposed to be coincidences?

8) How could a single missile destroy a battle station the size of a moon? No records, anywhere, show that any battle station or capital ship has ever been destroyed by a single missile. Furthermore, analysis of the tape of the last moments of the Death Star show numerous small explosions along its surface, prior to it exploding completely! Why does all evidence indicate that strategically placed explosives, not a single missile, is what destroyed the Death Star?

Jesus has been here all along

And he was our President for all those years.  And Governor of Arkansas.  And is married to Hillary Clinton.  And sas a child.

Perhaps The Davinci Code was right after all?

From Newsbusters:

Explaining how Hillary Clinton isn't as popular with African-American voters as Bill was, MSNBC's Chris Matthews pointed to the former president's verbal skills as one of the reasons why when he proclaimed: "There are times when he sounds like Jesus in the temple." Matthews made that observation during a discussion with the Washington Post's Eugene Robinson where both cited Bill Clinton's performance at Coretta Scott King's funeral as a prime example of Slick Willie's oratory abilities.

And here's what Mr. Matthews said:

Matthews: "I hate to pass on his lifestyle and questions like that, but there are times when he sounds like Jesus in the temple. I mean, amazing ability to transcend ethnicity, race, we call it, it's really ethnicity, in this country and, and speak to us all in this amazingly primordial way. And that's the only good thing I'll say about him tonight. Okay."

Oh. My. Clinton.

United States Greatest Threat to World!

No, wait - it's Great Britain.  I kid you not!

According to the ICBR - The International Coalition for British Reparations.   What?

The Political Pit Bull has this:

ICBR? You're Kidding, Right?

By Brennan on February 28, 2007 at 08:12 PM

The ICBR. What does it stand for? The International Coalition for British Reparations. Their mission? To get Great Britain to sign over 31 trillion pounds, to be split among all the world's people. That's over $8,300 a person. Their reason? They say Britain is the cause of most of the world's problems, and owes the whole world, a lot of money. Their sanity? None.

On their website they have an FAQ, which actually sounds like a list of demands of President Bush, by the Sheehan group. The first question is "Is this for Real?", which is a good question because those in our right minds, automatically ask this. Their answer: "Yes. Any student of world history will tell you that if he had to pick a single nation to pin all the world's troubles on, Britain is far and away the obvious choice."

Now, I was critical of Britain for withdrawing troops from Iraq, and still am. However, to pin "all the world's problems" on Britain, is insane. Yes, they are responsible for some troubles, no doubting that. So are we. Is it in some twisted way, these people's opinion that the British are responsible for our immigration problem? How about our Medicare issue? Our Social Security issue? And that's just in our country.

Conclusion? I'm with Karol, if this is a joke, I'm not getting it.

Quote of the Day

"It has been difficult for me to be a part of the military and be who I am, which is a homosexual. God has made me who I am and it has taken me a lot of time to come to terms with this.”

Army Times Story here

Let's analyze a few things.

God made you a lying, stalking, drugging, serial homosexual rapist?  I don't think so pal.  You are a disgusting criminal weirdo who gets his kicks by destroying the lives of others.

Read this steamer from his defense attorney:

“He was awarded the Outstanding Service Medal for two years at Eglin. All of his service records were excellent,” Regan said. “The best way to protect society is through rehabilitation. A life sentence isn’t necessary because he is not a repeat offender. He can be rehabilitated in prison.”

Rehabilitation for what?  Being a rapist?  In my mind the best way to get rehabilitated for that is to spend as much of your life behind bars so you can't hurt anyone else.  Rehabilitation for homosexuality?  The guy just said God made him that way.  I thought homosexuality wasn't a choice?  If he's  'made that way', how can he be rehabilitated?  Not a repeat offender?  He raped FIVE men!  He can be 'rehabilitated' - every day for the 50 years of his sentence.

This guy is a disgrace and deserves every second of prison time he received.

Military not Social Engineering Lab

I've believed this from the time I entered service.  You should not use the military as a social engineering laboratory.

It's convenient, since you have a captive audience as it were.  Politicians can legislate this type of stuff and shove it down the DOD's throat and there isn't a darn thing that can be done about it.

I still have to have homosexual sensitivity training on an annual basis.  Can you believe that?  Homosexuals aren't supposed to serve in the military anyway, so technically, what is there to be sensitive about.  With 'Don't ask, don't tell', I shouldn't know if there are homosexuals working anywhere around me, so what is there to be sensitive about.  I have to receive training to be 'sensitive' about a lifestyle I shouldn't be exposed to anyway in the course of my duties!

It's enough to drive one mad!  Of course mine is just the opinion of a bigoted homophobe anyway so what do I know.

Posted from RWN:

Get Rid Of Don't Ask, Don't Tell? Only If We Go Back To The Policy It Replaced.

The only way the, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," policy in the military should be dropped is if we go back to the old policy of not allowing gays in the military at all. But of course, the Democrats don't see it like that:

"Foes of the military’s ”don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on gays hope for better results in their efforts to repeal it in the new Democratic-run Congress.

Rep. Martin Meehan, D-Mass., on Wednesday revived legislation aimed at forcing the military to eliminate the policy preventing homosexual service members from being open about their orientation. Meehan said he expects the House Armed Services panel to hold hearings on the issue.

”I have worked in Congress to fight this policy because I believe that for more than a decade now it has undermined our national security interests,” Meehan said.

The prospects for Meehan’s bill are unclear. While many Democrats have criticized the policy as discriminatory, many Republicans have supported it. Congress may be reluctant to revisit such a divisive issue amid contentious debate over the Iraq war."

The old military policy used to simply be that, "homosexuality is incompatible with military service." If the majority of the generals and troops had their way, that would still be the case -- and it should be.

That's because, as the U.S. Code states that,

"The presence in the armed forces of persons who demonstrate a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability."

It's not at all hard to understand why that's the case in the military where there isn't much privacy and soldiers are often forced to stay in cramped areas under great periods of stress, for long periods of time....well, I should say it isn't hard to understand, except for liberals, who see the Armed Services as just another laboratory where they can test out their social engineering theories.

Are there humans on Mars?

If not, then how can one account for this:

Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming, Scientist Says

National Geographic must not have received the Goracle memo about 'bias in the media' about climate change.

Analysis from Newsbusters.

It's funny that every day more and more actual scientific evidence comes out debunking the climate change hysteria.  Yet people like Algore, with the assistance of the MSM, continue to get away with the misinformation.

A Prayer to The Goracle - All Praise to Thee

Posted from Americandigest:

Invocation

goraclepsweb.jpg

Oh Great Goracle
(All praise be to Thee),
I here pray fervently.

Abide with me
in my 65 degree house.
Illuminate my soul
as I read by the light
of my 20 watt bulb.

Warm me with thy good cheer
as I bask in my cold shower.
Be the wind at my back
as I dutifully bike
20 miles to work.

I have been thy good servant
and done all, nay even more,
than Thou hast asked of me.
Surely I will be rewarded
with your blessings from on high
as you pass over
in your glorious Green Jet.

Oh Goracle (All praise be to Thee)
use your mighty powers
to insure that all we little people
will be forced to contribute
to the great cause of saving Earth
so we may all, each and every one,
suffer equally in this most worthy cause.

All this I ask in the name
of the Great Goracle,
saviour of our globe from the evil CO2.

Amen (or "Apersons" as you may prefer)

Homelessness is back!

I know there are those out there who are in need.  But the hyped reporting on homeless rears it's ugly head every few years and I'm tired of it.  The facts on homelessness in America are even more skewed than those for 'global warming'.

I remember back in the early 90's we were told there were over 3 million homeless in the US.  Here's a story from 2002 which states the same number, roughly 10-12 years later.

Now CBS is telling us this:

On Wednesday's CBS Evening News, anchor Katie Couric highlighted how “according to a new government report out today” the problem of homelessness “is worse than we knew. On any given day, as many as 754,000 people in this country are homeless.

Which number is correct?

And why isn't this cause for celebration?  If we had three million homeless as recently as 2002, then why isn't it great news that we've eliminated over 2/3rds of the problem in just five years?

This is news which should be shouted from the rooftops!  The economy must be better.  Quality of life and opportunity must be at an all time high, right?!

Of course not.  More doom and gloom.  A repeat of plays from the same old playbook.

For analysis head over to Newsbusters.  The WaPo has this dreary assessment.

From 3 million to 725,000 in just five years.  What a great accomplishment for this nation.

PS - Don't we usually get hit with these stories around Thanksgiving?  I'm just sayin.

Australian Knight Rips Al Gore

Australian Knight Rips Al Gore and Global Warming ‘Campaign of Alarmism'

Posted by Noel Sheppard on February 28, 2007 - 13:24.

Sir Arvi Parbo is likely not a household name in America. However, the knighted business mogul originally from Estonia is highly regarded in Australia, so much so that he was the keynote speaker at Wednesday’s gathering of climate change skeptics in Canberra.

As reported by News.com, during his address, Sir Parbo had some rather harsh words for Dr. Global Warming, aka Al Gore, as well as for all alarmists including those in the media:

A CONCERTED and well-organised campaign has created alarm over human-induced climate change, industrial magnate Sir Arvi Parbo says.

Sir Arvi also said today key international reports warning of climate change, including Al Gore's documentary An Inconvenient Truth, are biased and scrutiny of them has been suppressed. [emphasis added in second paragraph]

Sir Arvi was just getting warmed up (emphasis mine throughout):

Sir Arvi said he had kept an open mind through 20 years of listening to debate about climate change but was now witnessing a "semi-religious fervour" overshadowing it.

"One must admire the skilful way in which the public has been led to believe that there is no longer any uncertainty, and that disastrous climate change caused by humans is imminent," he said.

Sir Arvi then set his sights on Dr. Global Warming himself:

"The appointment of Mr Al Gore as adviser to the UK Government on climate change is a good example.

"I am not aware of Mr Gore's ranking as a climate scientist but he has undoubted credentials as a politician and someone who knows how to influence public opinion.

"His film, The Inconvenient Truth has been widely publicised, has been seen by, and has influenced millions of people around the world.

"It has been severely criticised for deliberately and grossly exaggerating and distorting the issues and I understand that the recently published summary for policymakers by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change contradicts a number of Mr Gore's major contentions.

"This, in contrast, has had virtually no publicity and no effect on the public."

Sir Arvi then went after the media:

"An uninvolved observer has to conclude that there has been a concerted and well-organised campaign to create worldwide apprehension and alarm.

"Reading and listening to the media and to political discussion, this campaign has succeeded. In fact it may have succeeded too well."

Let’s hope not, Sir.

A terrifying message from Al Gore

IIf I'm not mistaken, Bender is from the year 3,000, right?

Do we have to listen to this drivel for the next 2,993 years?
