Anti-war kickoff in Washington

Take a look at this from the WaPo: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/09/24/AR2005092400852.html

Let the freak frenzy begin.  I'm beginning a multi-part posting about some of the groups organizing this garbage.

Of course we have some of the usual suspects like ANSWER, but there are others you wil learn about as the weekend progresses.  Check back from time to time for further updates.

Video - Sec. Def, says resolution "emboldens" enemy

Watch the video over at Hot Air:

http://hotair.com/archives/2007/01/26/video-gates-says-the-anti-surge-resolution-emboldens-the-enemy/

Two things strike me from this video:

1.  Listen to the political hesi-talk.  Just answer the bloody question!  Say what you feel.  You only have two years left, what are they gonna do?

2.  He says he doesn't believe the Senators intention is to "embolden" the enemy, even though that's the result.  You know darn good and well that's what he wants to say, but won't.  Again anyone with a lick of common sense knows this resolution is saying in writing what the politicians don't have the guts to come right out and say.

All I've heard is that the American people want us to win and they support the troops.  Yet this resolution smacks directly in the face of that logic.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - THE TROOPS AND THE WAR ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE!

That's why this resolution is so dangerous.  It will demoralize the last vestige of solid support - the troops.  Once their will to fight is gone, it will truly be over.  The troops need the true support of their civilian leadership, not political power games.

Had the leftist politicians in this country stood behind this war and the President, we could have kicked butt and taken names well before today.

Of course that is the solution of most on the left.  Let's move on.  We'll push off these problems on the next generation.  Just like we are doing with social security.  Just like we've done with education, poverty, taxes, etc.

I read this earlier today and it makes pretty good sense.  You know what redeployment gets us?  Korea.  We didn't finish that fight and we're still there going on 60 years later.   Containment gets us another Cold War.  Containment gave us ten years of Operation Northern and Southern Watch.  "Well that's why we didn't remove Saddam in '91, we knew we'd have these problems."  Yeah?  Well we would've also had ten years plus to deal with issues.  We would've had a military which was twice the size then than it is now to deal with any issues.

Let's just go ahead and leave.  Let's give the pacifist, leftist idiots who can't read a history book what they want.  In ten years they can have another war to protest and argue about in congress because that's what we'll have my friends.  And next time it'll take a lot more than 22,000 troops to take care of it.

The Air Force is cutting 40,00 personnel from it's ranks within the next 5-8 years.  The other services are going to be forced to cut as well.  The policy wonks think we have a strained military now?  Wait until we have to fight the next fight! There are no MEN in Washington anymore.  That clip from "The Path to 9/11" summed it up pretty well, all we have in Washington are a bunch of blow hard cowards.

We can't fight the war, it's costing to much.  Hell, just raise the minimum wage (except for American Samoa, right?)  Let's talk about child poverty again Sen Kennedy while children are stoned to death by the animals of Islam.  Let's groan and moan about all the old social problems you didn't fix for the last fifty years, but somewhow now, we'll get it done.

Support the war effort.  60 years ago people planted victory gardens, now we want to give illegal alien criminals welfare and drivers licenses.

We face an enemy who MURDERED 3,000 innocent men, women and children, our fellow citizens.  But wait, Valerie Plame was upset.  Some Iraqi rpisoners have panties put on their heads - oh the outrage!.  But Nicholas Berg had his head sawed off on video - he must of had that one coming I guess.

Stop playing games!  Have some guts!  You people (Clinton, Kennedy, Hegel, etc.) don't support the war - just say it.  Be honest.  The only reason you voted for it was to get your butts re-elected; more political games!  Be honest, at least we could respect that a little.

This is not a damn "surge".  These troops are reinforcdements to go over and stop the SOB's from killing our guys and innocnet civilians.  Stand up and say you don't support the effort, because you obviously don't.  This resolution proves it!  You flaccid, slack spined morons don't even have the courage to come out and say what you believe.  This resolution is tantamount to not giving the soldiers bullets.  "We want the troops to have what they need."  Everything except reinforcements right?

We'll just play semantic games, the american people are stupid anyway, right?

I've had it!  Let us fight and kill the monsters who attacked us.  That's right, I said kill!  These fanatics don't deserve to breath the air the good Lord made.  Let's get a little payback.  We have a duty to defeat our enemies, I have sworn to do so myself.  Let us do it!

Just work on your nice social initiatives and let the real men get some work done.  Go drink your Starbucks and get your botox injection while you eat a minimum wage free tuna sandwich.

There's work to be done and real Americans want to do it!  I'm really pissed off and I'm posting this without even doing a spellcheck.  I'll fix it tomorrow.

Irrefutable Evidence - Global Warming causes terrorism!

Here it is folks, right in this article:

http://www.smh.com.au/news/World/Climate-change-may-fan-terrorism/2007/01/25/1169594394205.html

That was it.  Now I'm convinced.  Oh, and since Osama Bin Laden blames the US, it must be true.  Now I'm convinced of why they hate us.  My wifes hairspray and McDonalds with all its trash is the problem.

From this point forward, I will do all witin my power to end global warming.  I demand government implementation of immediate plans to stop this menace!

We must begin a program - The Sun and Ocean Eradication Initiative (TS&OEI)!  We must do all we can to end the scourge of terrorism.  Sen. Hagel is right!  Pull out the troops; military force is not the answer.

The science from my previous post, http://robertsteely.townhall.com/g/3ace7998-5b21-4296-8b0a-dbaa6c926424 is wrong.

I repent!  Woe unto me for my self-absorbed short sightedness!  All hail TS&OEI.

Revealed - Removed scene from "Path to 9/11" discovered

Take a look a this from Hot Air:

http://hotair.com/archives/2007/01/26/hannity-to-air-controversial-scene-removed-from-path-to-911/

Look at both of the scenes they have posted.  As they state, they aren't sure if this is the footage being talked about, but if it isn't, man - I REALLY want to see what it is.

I didn't watch this when originally aired.  But I can see now why the MSM was up in arms to the point of frenzy over this.

Do we really want more Clinton foreign policy?

Global Warming for Dummies

or "How I learned to embrace CO2 and tell Al Gore to Shut Up."

Read this primer on global warming first:

http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/ice_ages.html#anchor2108263

Once you're done there, head over to this site for an education on the major contributor to global warming, you may be surprised.  CO2?  Think again:

http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html

It's funny, the more I research the facts about this subject, the more mystified I become at how people are so ready to beleive what they're spoon fed by others.

Anti-War protesters - Call to Action!

So, another anti-war protest is going to occur in Washington this weekend:

http://www.csmonitor.com/2007/0126/p01s01-ussc.html

Take a look at this exceprt:

"Major organizations are working to ensure that events do not include fringe groups and speakers, such as anarchists or socialists. Until recently, "people on the far left got control of the agenda and it became marginalized, even though the sentiment in the country increasingly became antiwar," says one organizer, who wished to remain anonymous. These days, such events feature labor union members, environmentalists, and especially active duty military people, says this source."

I'll be watching!  Almost all the major anti-war protest marches over the last five years have been sponsored by groups such as International A.N.S.W.E.R., the radical anti-US, pro-communist/socialist organization.

I'll be watching and will expose these traitors should they rear their ugly, marxist heads.

Appearances by radicals (who else attends these "get togethers"?) will only confirm their true intentions - the overthrow of our government and way of life.  The imposition of tryanny.  The destruction of liberty.  Wrapped in the self-indulgent respose of "supporting the troops."  Soldiers and war are NOT mutually exclusive!

In my only remark about the SOTU speech the other night, President Bush was wrong - they do want us to fail.

I ask all of you to call these people to task!  Expose their true agendas.  Expose them through your blogs.  Post their videos.  Post pictures of these events - especially their signs.  Call them out for their bigotry and prejudice.

At this critical time, when success or failure literally totters on the razors edge, we need to come together.  As a nation we need to unite to defeat the enemies who would impose their will on us.  "A house divided against itself cannot stand."  - Abraham Lincoln, one of our greatest Presidents.  Those words and that speech stand as true now as they did then.  Read the speech.  If you change just a few words, you could make the same arguments today.

We are engaged in a conflict we must win!  If we fail, the consequences would be more dire than anyone could possibly imagine.  The sacrifice of our men and women in uniform would then have been in vain.  Those murdered on September 11, 2001 would have no peace.  Our children would have to fight this same enemy again, but an enemy that would be more powerful for our failure.  An enemy who would then stop at nothing to not just defeat us in their land, but also in ours!

"Either the opponents of slavery will arrest the further spread of it, and place it where the public mind shall rest in the belief that it is in the course of ultimate extinction; or its advocates will push it forward, till it shall become alike lawful in all the States, old as well as new -- North as well as South."  Just change a few words.

"Either the opponents of tyranny will arrest the further spread of it, and place it where the public mind shall rest in the belief that it is in the course of ultimate extinction; or its advocates will push it forward, till it shall become alike lawful in all the World, old as well as new -- East as well as West."

We must unite as one nation and defeat those who would tear us apart.  From within as well as without.

Rep. Ellison's support of domestic terrorist - "No concern"

More great information about our new muslim congressman:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53930

Apparently, he supports domestic terrorists if the reasoning is right.

So, attempting to bomb police and assassinate american leaders is OK for Rep. Ellison.  Hmm.

One has to wonder how much justification it would take to jump from supporting extreme social issues and domestic terrorists to supporting extreme religious issues or terrorists.

How comforting is the silence from the MSM?  Or the silence from Rep. Ellison's political co-workers?

Global Warming in the News

Here's another series of articles and information on global warming hysteria this week.

First, lets stop by the Washington Post for this obviously unbiased article about a parent not wanting Al Gores propaganda shoved down his childs throat:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/01/24/AR2007012401807.html

How about  this objectively reported excerpt from the article:

"The National Academy of Sciences, together with nearly all of the world's leading climate experts, have agreed that there is conclusive evidence that human activity is causing the Earth to warm and that there is an urgent need to reduce the amount of carbon being released into the air." (Emphasis added)

Rebut:  No names of climate experts, but nearly all of them say so.  Try Googling "global warming skeptics". Almost every article you'll find will name skeptic scientists or organizations, but with the spin that they are funded by "Big Oil" or other corporations; the reasoning being that makes their conclusions flawed.  No mention of how the pro-global warming scientitists are funded.  You know, organizations like Greenpeace who don't have an agenda.

Also pay attention to the sheeples comparison between global warming and the Holocaust.  Why can't anyone have a differing opinion about this subject?  Supporters don't want debate, they want submission.

Read this about how global warming activists try to silence criticism:

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2007/1/23/195240.shtml?s=lh

How about this new information.  Not only will global warming roast us all, we may not make it that far.  You see, if global warming doesn't fry us we'll kill ourselves anyway:

Here's some info on the coldest temps to hit the northeast in years:

http://wwwa.accuweather.com/news-top-headline.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0

You want to know what the real agenda of the envirowackos is?  Read this from Steve Malloy:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,246915,00.html

And debunking the whole Kilimanjaro snow melting from global warming argument:

http://www.americanthinker.com/2006/06/gores_global_warming_snow_job.html

Here's a question:  If mankind is so responsible for the warming of the planet, do we have the power to cool it as well?  Where's the thermostat?  I'd like to know before July gets here.

As the famous quote goes:  "You can fool some of the people some of the time, you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."

Councilman supports troops - sits on hands

Here is a great show of support.

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/usworld/news-article.aspx?storyid=74255

Let me see if I understand his reasoning:  Refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance allows him to both protest the war in Iraq and support the troops.  Wearing his National Defense Service Medal Ribbon shows he supports the troops, honest.  All is right with the world.

I was unaware that the war and the troops were mutually exclusive.  Why can't these people stand up for what they believe?

You can disagree with policy; you can disagree with war, but you cannot seperate the soldiers from the war!  They are engaged in the mission enforcing US policy.  Good or bad, that's what we do.  If you don't support the effort, you can't support the mechanism of that effort.  It's that simple.

That's like saying you won't water your yard because the chlorine in the water will kill it.  Well if you don't water it, it's gonna die anyway.  (I know that's a poor analogy, but it's the best I could come up with at the moment.)  How about this:  It's like lopping off your right hand for the sake of the left.

As for wearing his ribbon.  This is just a tactic to silence critics.  "See, I was in the military.  I support the troops.  You can't crticize me, because I was in the military."  It's false gravitas.

I would respect these type of people, I swear, if they would just have some integrity.  I wish lefty libs would just be honest about their idealogy.

Of course in this instance they can't.  They know that the majority of the American people don't want us to lose in Iraq.  If they were honest about their real feelings, they would be drummed out of power.

So they continue to have their cake and eat it too and the MSM gives them a pass.

Nukes on the cheap

This is a eye opening report:  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16795915

If anyone doubts there are people out there trying to obtain this stuff, they are deluding themselves.

What else are you going to use HEU for?  I'm sure it would work great in my residential nuclear reactor, but I only buy AMERICAN HEU, not that cheap russian knock off stuff.

Ponder this:  They caught this guy.  How many haven't been caught?
